This is a macro photograph of water drops falling off of colored pencils and refracting the American flag behind it. The background of the image that reflected inside the drop was an American Flag paper plate. This is part of my macro water drop series.
"I started out taking a trip to Italy. It was my first time in Europe and I decided to buy a new camera with a long lens. Well that was the beginning of my photographic journey. I couldn't put the camera down! I loved taking the photos, looking at them in my computer, cropping them, playing with colors and tones, until the vision on the screen looked the way I saw it (and sometimes the way I would like to see it!).
