This is a macro photograph of water drops falling off of colored pencils and refracting the American flag behind it. The background of the image that reflected inside the drop was an American Flag paper plate. This is part of my macro water drop series.

"I started out taking a trip to Italy. It was my first time in Europe and I decided to buy a new camera with a long lens. Well that was the beginning of my photographic journey. I couldn't put the camera down!
