This photo was taken in Montauk, NY. The visual deception of this photo is that the "boulders" are actually small rocks that were placed close to the camera creating a distortion and allowing them to look much larger then the person in the photo.

"I started out taking a trip to Italy. It was my first time in Europe and I decided to buy a new camera with a long lens. Well that was the beginning of my photographic journey. I couldn't put the camera down! I loved taking the photos, looking at them in my computer, cropping them, playing with colors and tones, until the vision on the screen looked the way I saw it (and sometimes the way I would like to see it!). I came home, quickly upgraded my camera to a fancier DSLR and began learning everything I could! Years later and I am still learning and loving it just as much...maybe even more.
